Osteopathic Care

Osteopathy includes hands-on treatment to ease pain and improve mobility. Whether youʼre dealing with injury, pain, or just want to enhance your overall wellness, I’ll work with you to help achieve your health goals. If you’ve had an injury, I can submit an ACC claim on your behalf.

I’m excited to now be offering health and wellness coaching, which complements osteopathy incredibly well. I can help you to identify your version and vision of health, and support you in achieving your wellness goals. Find out more here.

Wellness Support

Hands-on treatments are often complemented by exercises and stretching, to support your mobility, strength, balance and flexibility.

Osteopathic Principles

Osteopathy recognises the relationship between body, mind and spirit. We take a big-picture view of how the many and varied aspects of your life influence your health and wellness. When it comes to providing treatment, we consider the combination of structure and function, and work with the ability of every body to self-regulate and heal.

From dogs and cats to horses, sheep and cows; for pets or performance animals, I can choose from a wide range of veterinary osteopathy techniques to address pain and mobility issues. As a registered veterinarian, I ensure your pets receive a high standard of care. See www.vetrehab.nz for more information.

Veterinary Rehabilitation

Veterinary rehabilitation focuses on helping injured or recovering animals regain strength, balance and mobility. I guide you through tailored treatment plans for each animal, whether we’re working together on post-surgery recovery or managing chronic pain. See www.vetrehab.nz for more information.

About Me!

I’m Debbie, and I’m registered as both an osteopath and as a veterinarian, which is pretty unique. As a life-long learner and a big fan of education, I’ve studied in many universities and have a rather long list of post-graduate qualifications. My latest certification has been health coaching – I love seeing people taking control of their health and improving their own lives. I really enjoy the variety of working with both people and their animals, and can be found in my osteo/coaching clinic one day, in a vet clinic with dogs and cats or out in a paddock treating a pony the next. No two days are ever the same!
